How do I use your store?
The online store is very simple to use.
Both on the left hand side of the home page and on the home page central area are the section called "Online Store Categories" this is a menu system, and clicking on any of the headings (left menu) or pictures (main page) will take you into that category section. If there are sub categories, they will be shown on both the left hand menu, or the main page central area.
When you have reached the category you require, you will be shown all of the products within that category. These give brief product details and the option to buy there and then. Clicking on the blue "Product details" link will give you the full details for that particular product.
Many products have options available such as finish and size. To check the options, which will be shown within the blue shaded box simply click on the down arrow and the options will be shown. Clicking on one will select that option.
If you are happy to buy, simply click on the "Add to Basket" button. The product you selected will now be in your shopping basket. You can of course add more products if you require them.
When you are ready to finish, click on the "Show Basket" link within the shopping basket, and then click on the "Checkout" link to complete the order.
During the Checkout process you will have the ability to give a billing and also shipping address as well as special instructions such as - Leave in shed if not in...
After filling in the required details, clicking "Confirm order" will take you to the payment section. Handled by Protx, this is completely secure. Once payment is made you will be returned to our website.

How secure is it to shop with you?
Total Bathrooms online is extremely safe. We use Protx to process all of our online payments. Here is Protx own security statement:-
Security Overview
As a Payment Service Provider, thousands of businesses outsource their transaction security to us. It is our top priority to ensure that transaction data is kept secure at all times.
Transaction security
All transaction information passed between merchant sites and the Protx VSP Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your servers from Protx are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing you pass to the Protx servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.
Encryption and Data Storage
Once on our systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign's Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data we hold is extremely secure and we are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.
Links to banks
Protx has multiple private links into the banking network that are completely separate from the Internet and which do not cross any publicly accessible networks. Any cardholder information sent to the banks and any authorisation message coming back is secure and cannot be tampered with.
Employee access
No individuals within Protx are able to decrypt transaction information or cardholder data. Our systems only allow access to our most senior staff and only in extenuating circumstances (such as investigations of Card Fraud by the Police). Your transaction information and customer card information is secure even from our own employees because our systems never display the full card numbers, even on administration screens.

FREE Delivery Offer - Does this cover everything?
Our FREE Delivery offer is available on all purchases that exceed £200 inclusive of VAT.
Not covered within this deal are items from within the "Bathroom Suites" section. This is because bathroom suites cannot be sent via courier and need to be specially palletised and sent direct.
The FREE delivery offer is not available for orders to be sent outside of the UK mainland or UK offshore.
Do you discount further for quantities?

The "Usually ships in..." statement actually means that the product should be delivered to you within that time frame.
All delivery times given are approximates, unforseen circumstances can delay deliveries. If this happens you will be informed straight away, and given other options such as swapping to another product, or cancelling the order.
I need other products that are not on your site. Can you help?
Of course. We have access to over 300,000 products from all of the major manufacturers. We will be happy to provide a quotation for you for providing the products that you need. Buying everything from the same place has the benefit of keeping it simple. You have one point of contact should you need it instead of many. It may also mean that the extra buying power you have can be converted into extra savings...

What do I do if my order arrives damaged?
You need to let us know as soon as possible. We can then arrange to exchange the item for you. This is usually done via the same couriers who will drop off the replacement at the same time as collecting the damaged item.What happens if I want to return my item?
You have a 14 day period (from delivery) in which to contact us if you are unhappy with your product. We will then discuss possible alternative products with you.
If you would prefer a refund, we will arrange to collect the product from you, however, the original cost for shipping the product to you will be deducted before we refund your payment (this is to cover the costs of shipping as this is a service that has been provided). The refund will be completed as soon as we receive the returned item.

How do I access my account?
When you place an order with Total Bathrooms you are automatically given an account based on your email address, and a randomly generated password. These details can be used at anytime to log back into your account using the "Account Login/Logout" section on the lefthand menu. Alternatively click Account Maintenance.
When you have logged into your account you will have the ability to view your order history, change your address, or add addresses. You can also add product reviews.
What's the difference between buying online and buying in your showroom?
Our online store has much less in the way of overheads than our showrooms therefore we can offer better prices online. Other than that, there is no other difference, you will still get the same level of experience and service that you would expect from a leading bathroom retailer.
How do I enable Cookies?
Our online store requires the use of cookies. Cookies are a simple text file that record the data of your visit to us, such as - items placed in the cart. This means that if you leave the site and then return, the items you placed in the cart will still be there.
The functioning of the store correctly relies on cookies being enabled. If you receive a message saying "Your browser is not cookie enabled" etc then you will need to change this setting while you visit this site. To do this, follow the simple steps below:
Internet Explorer - Go to Tools>Internet Options>Select the Security Tab>Where it shows the "Security level for this zone" Move the slider on the left down to the medium setting, then click on the apply button. Refresh the browser page and it should now work.
Firefox - Go to Tools>Options>Select the Privacy Tab>Ensure that the box that says "Accept Site Cookies" is Ticked>once done, accept, then refresh the browser page.
